One of my favorite bands and clients, Mother Falcon, keep touring throughout the US relentlessly. This is a cut from their last East Coast tour in June 2014, where I helped band historian, singer, and multi-instrumentalist Tamir Kalifa take a couple of shots for the band's visual tour diary, cut to the amazing song "Marfa."
Prior to the release of Meshell's new album Comet, Come to Me, her press team over at Girlie Action secured a NPR first listen of the record. Since we had promised Meshell's email list, that they would be the first ones to get to hear the album, I created a playlist of lyric videos, so they can listen to the album before anyone else did. Check them out here:
I've produced a series of Comet, Come to Me - Behind The Scenes videos for the release of Meshell Ndegeocello's new album. Check them out here:
The first night I saw Mother Falcon live, I had the honor of seeing them play with Gary Lucas. I'm very proud to have caught this gorgeous rendition of Buckley's song, off of one of the most iconic records of all time.
Amanda Palmer obviously is one creative b****, no doubt about that. Her voice is amazing, her presence undeniably striking. Combining her forces with indie orchestra Mother Falcon for their jazzy tune "Pennies," they go all in. I had the pleasure of filming and witnessing the moment.
Amazing opportunity to see the Meshell live and film her cover of Joy Division's 'Digital".
